Alternatively, copy the No orders from the Ready scedule, it is already setup to always equip. I don't know if there is a good way to only get intelligent undead, so be prepared to lose some of your troops you are intending to turn because once they become normal zombies I don't think they will ever be brought back intelligent again. Got to Military - Select a squad - Schedule - View monthly schedule - Edit (the ones that say No orders) - Equip/orders only. If you intend to kill some dwarves and resurrect them, I would recommend a drowning chamber to keep them in good shape. I have three squads set to the standard 'Metal Armor' uniform. First make a squad in the military screen, set the uniform there. He will resurrect all the corpses he can see, which are safely in the corpse room, and any normal undead will get caught in the cages while the intelligent ones are free to walk out and rejoin the fort. Probably a dozen, but here are some quick tips. So you stick the corpses in the corpse room, get your necromancer to stand in the middle room, and then lower the bridge to spook him. I would place cage traps in the entrance to that room to catch any unintelligent undead that are created before they can wander into your fort. In the other side room you want to store the corpses you are hoping to resurrect. In one of the side rooms you want to release a hostile creature, and you want a draw bridge on the necromancer side to remotely block off or open up the view. So you need to create a resurrection room that your necromancer can be locked in, with a couple rooms on either side that the necromancer can see into that aren't connected.
